Research Study: Low Testosterone

• This research study is being conducted in adult males with low testosterone and involves an investigational study drug containing testosterone. The purpose of this research study is to
conduct a 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM, meaning while moving or walking) study to assess whether testosterone, in the form of Vogelxo, increases blood pressure in men
with reduced or absent hormone secretion.
• Vogelxo testosterone gel has been FDA approved for topical use since 1953.
• This study is for research purposes only and is not intended to treat any medical condition

Method of Administration:
Topical Gel

To qualify:
• 18 to 80 years old
• Must have low testosterone (we can do the test if unknown)
• Not currently using any testosterone replacement therapy or growth hormone
• Must have no history of prostate or breast cancer
• Non-nicotine user
• Meet other requirements

• 3 screening visits to determine eligibility
• 2 night stay on 2 separate occasions in our research dormitory
• 5 outpatient visits
• Approximately 24 week study duration

Qualified participants will receive study medication, study related exams and laboratory tests at no charge
