Research Studies

  • Low Testosterone

    Heart Studies Image

    • A50 Research study to evaluate two different dosages of an investigational medication containing testosterone in adult males with low testosterone.  Requires 15 outpatient visits and a 2 night stay in the research dormitory on 2 separate occasions.

  • Hepatitis C

    Liver Studies Image

    • B 45 At least 18 years old, Must have genotype 1 hepatitis C (we will do the test if genotype is unknown).  Study may last up to 18-24 months.

  • Kidney

    Kidney Studies

    • E 05 18 to 75 years old with various degrees of kidney impairment; Non-dialysis participants: 3 day, 2 night stay in our research dormitory and 2 follow-up visits. Dialysis participants: 3 day, 2 night stay in our research dorm and 1 follow-up visit on 2 separate occasions.
